GURU Comments: The Forest has many other types of memberships available, including a Sport Membership with limited golf, for $10,000 initiation fee, and $4,200/Yr. dues.  The Bear course is more challenging and has a northern course feel, and the Bobcat is more of a traditional Florida course with wider fairways, several preserve holes, and many lakes. In 2018, they renovated both of their golf courses, at a cost of $3.8M. And, on their 40th Anniversary, in 2019, they completed a major $10M renovation of their 40,000sf clubhouse, featuring a transitional, contemporary look, and expanded indoor and outdoor dining, including the newly-added Gumbo Limbo Outdoor Bar with resort style seating and fire pits. The fitness center and aerobics room were also enhanced, featuring expanded views of the golf course. The Forest hosts an annual Boston Red Sox Celebrity Classic, which has raised a total of over-$11.5M over the years. They have 6-Har-Tru tennis courts (3-lit), and a very active and competitive tennis program, including  Junior Player Programs. TF also has 4-pickle ball courts, and 2-lighted bocce courts with 300 bocce league members.
