GURU Comments: As of early-2020, Palmira has a 1-2 year “Waiting List” for Golf Memberships, unless a home is purchased that already has one. Palmira’s main clubhouse is 41,000sf with indoor and outdoor dining. The community has a unique amenities facility–The Renaissance Center–which is located just outside the main community gate and is separate from the main clubhouse. It has casual outdoor dining, a resort-type pool, a fitness center, bocce ball, and is adjacent to the tennis/pickle ball complex. All Palmira residents can use the Renaissance Center’s facilities (except tennis), as it’s paid for by their HOA fees. In 2019, Palmira’s residents approved a major $6M renovation (Palmira Vision 2020) of the Renaissance Center’s facilities, including substantial enhancement of its outdoor bar/dining area. Social Memberships are also available for $5,000 initiation fee, and $2,095/Yr. dues; and, a Wait List for Golf Membership is also available…$12,000 initiation fee and $2,595/Yr. dues. Palmira has a very competitive, traveling tennis program.
